Meeting this Saturday at 12pm (High-Noon). I would like to meet every weekend to promote the growth of the club as well as talk about everyone's work status. In addition this will give us the opportunity to help each other out in each specific task we are working on.

A quick agenda for this weekend.

-Go over key mechanical components that need to be finished by the end of the term.
This includes and not limited to:

Variable pitch system (ie hub)
Door mechanisms
Restraint system
Dead man
Sensor housings
Waterproofing servos
Connector fittings
Buoyancy
Servo mounts
Switch mounts for pilot control

-Go over budget with team


As you can see I cannot work on these solo and will need help from you all as well as the new guys, which is why I want to hold weekly meetings. I understand we are all busy, but this is something I know you all like to do and I hope you all would want to leave a good footprint on the club before we all leave.

Hey all. Sub work has been kinda dry recently mainly because the push for teachers to cram crap on us before we leave for spring break. Any how, we all need to meet next week. Please reply back to this so we can find out when the best time for us to meet. I was thinking Thursday night in the ASME lounge.

I have work on Thursday nights from 5p - 8p. Before then, I have other responsibilities from 11am-3pm.

how long is the meeting going to be? If its going to be short, any time after wednesday. If it is going to be long, i can't guarantee i'll be available until friday at 4pm. I have one of those awesome tests that was announced at the last minute in one class, and all of my other classes have homework due on friday.

I'm free any other evening, except Monday for softball, but I'd prefer Wednesday, myself.

It will be decent long... That is why I am getting times from all of you. Will Wednesday work for you Danna? I do not want to have it Friday since most people will be going out of town for spring break.

@ Bloo, Like more than one hour? What are we discussing, specifically? Also, can you send me the servo spec sheet via e-mail or AIM or whatever.

We will be discussing plans for spring break. If people are staying here whatever. I also wanted to share all the info about the controls system. I will be purchasing all that equipment next week so we need to get a jump on all the things that encompass that system. Ill send you the spec sheet right now. Should last a little over an hour I dont see it going more than an hour and a half.

Topics include waterproofing, controls integration, finishing up drive train design, well pretty much everything.

I would like all to show this way if someone needs help on something we can all figure it out.

This is a reminder that there will be a new members meeting tomorrow at 1pm in the ASME Lounge located in MAE B second floor. This will be the first of many meetings I will be conducting with the new members of HPS in order to prepare them for next year and the up coming competition.

I will be breaking down the meetings with specific topics that are needed to conduct smooth competition operations as well as design issues from the past, travel arrangements, UF purchasing, UF reimbursement, Sub house operations, UF facilities usage, connecting to potential sponsors, and bookkeeping with in the club.

I encourage each new (interested) member of the team to join me at this meeting.
